Tavush is the north-eastern province of Armenia. It is one of the most naturally beautiful regions in the country. There are some parts of Tavush province which are called “Small Switzerland of Armenia”. How to Reach Tavush, Armenia?
By Air
There are no airports for Tavush travel within the province. You have to rely on other airports in Armenia like Yerevan and Shirak. Once you have arrived at any of the airports, you have to rely on road travel to reach the places to visit in Tavush province.
By Road
Even the road transport options for Tavush travel are quite limited. The bus network of Armenia would take you to the major towns of the province, but then you don’t have many options to get to other remote areas for things to do in Tavush province. You have to either get a cab or rent a car to enjoy Tavush sightseeing in remote areas.
The roads are fairly good and the view is amazing in Tavush province. You will find many things to see in Tavush along the way.
By Water
As it is a landlocked province, there are no water routes for Tavush travel. You might not get any water routes for centuries to come to visit Tavush tourist attractions. The road is all you have and all you can take for Tavush sightseeing.
