How to Reach Jurmala?
By Air
The closest airport for Jurmala travel is Riga International Airport in the Latvian capital city of Riga. You can get cabs, buses and trains to visit Jurmala from Riga from the city.
By Road
Trains to Jurmala run from Riga central station on Jurmala-Tukums route. The train will take you to Majori station in Jurmala. The train journey takes about 30 minutes to reach Majori station, from there you can continue towards places to visit in Jurmala by bus or taxi.
You can also take public buses, min buses and tour buses for Jurmala sightseeing from Riga. There are also cabs available directly from Riga International Airport to visit Jurmala.
If you are planning to reach Jurmala by car, then you should head to route A10. You will have to pay a small entry fee for Jurmala travel.
By Water
You can get boat ride from Riga to visit Jurmala. The boat ride is about 2 and a half hours long, so it is much easier to take a bus or a train. The boat rides are only available between May & September.
