How to Reach Sumqayit, Azerbaijan?
By Air
The Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku is the closest airport to Sumqayit. Baku and Sumqayit sit on the opposite side of the Absheron Peninsula and both face the Caspian sea. The Absheron district lies between them. But, they are not too far from one another. You will get travel options to reach Sumqayit from the airport itself. You can also enjoy Baku first and then visit Sumqayit tourist attractions from the city. From the airport, you can get the option of bus travel and cab to go for Sumqayit sightseeing. You will also be able to rent a car to drive to various tourist attractions in Sumgayit. This is if you are cleared to drive in Azerbaijan.
By Road
