The Burj Al Arab is located on an artificial island about 300 metres from Jumeirah Beach and has a connection with the mainland via a curving bridge. The structure resembles a ship sail and also boasts of a helipad at the height of 210 metres.
It is an extravagant hotel built at a cost of $1billion and brags of a chauffer driven Rolls Royce, personal butlers, toiletries by Hermes and almost everything is 24 karat gold. Not to mention there are 6 staffs per guests.
It is more than two decades old and has won loads of awards and accolades for its uber luxury. Best Hotel in the World, Five-Star Award are among the many awards it can claim ownership to.
